Student Reviews
Having taken only one semester of Latin in the Seminary, I really appreciate the intuitive style of learning in this class. The course material, the textbook, the instructor, Sean Pilcher, and his expertise as well as his patience are all great. I would happily recommend this class to others who would like to begin to learn the Latin language.
I’m in the middle of this class and really enjoying it! Gregory DiPippo is an excellent teacher, presenting the information clearly and is patient as we all try to take it in. And Lingua Latina is definitely useful and engaging textbook though going through it with a guide is very helpful. I remember picking it up in the past and trying to go through it on my own which was much more difficult and frustrating. 10/10 would recommend this course to anyone looking for an accessible introduction to Latin!
This is a great course! The content is obviously rich and the Latin easy enough that we do not get bogged down. Dr. Llewellyn makes the experience fun and low stress. It is really helpful to correct some bad habits and learn some good ones!
