Nicholas Mataya, MA

Latinist & Diaconal Candidate

About Me

I am a Latin teacher in Texas and a candidate for the Diaconate in the Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church. I received my BA from Louisiana State University and my MA from Villanova University, along with some doctoral work at Swansea University in the UK. I have been teaching Latin for several years, using several different curricula. I am a member of the Familia Sancti Hieronymi, a group dedicated to the speaking and teaching of Latin from a Catholic perspective. I absolutely love languages (all sorts), and I will help you discover your love for Latin.
