Since the start of the Veterum Sapientia Summer Workshop, we have been honored to work with the faculty and staff of Belmont Abbey College. Belmont Abbey is one of the country’s most historic and highly respected Catholic colleges, who prioritize the Benedictine commitment to faith and scholarship throughout their programs of study.
Sharing in their vision for a fully Catholic, vibrant education for the next generation, our relationship has facilitated a new partnership to bring Latin to even more students and future teachers! We have teamed up to bring VSI’s “mastery-at-level” Latin courses to Belmont’s newest MA in Classical and Liberal Education. 12 credits of our new teaching credential will be accepted as progress towards their MA degree, with a concentration in Latin Pedagogy.
